Information this website handles
You do not need to submit your name or contact details to browse the public pages. Additional personal information is handled when you choose to contact us or begin an available preorder checkout.
- Contact messages include the name, email address, and message you submit.
- Pickup checkout includes your first and last name, mobile number, email address, selected products and quantities, and pickup date and time.
- A successful order includes an HMCA order reference and the order and payment information needed to confirm it with Square.
- Our hosting provider may process basic request information, such as an IP address and browser or device details, to deliver and protect the website.
Why we use it
We use submitted information to answer questions, review event invitations, prepare and coordinate prepaid pickup orders, process payment, provide a receipt or confirmation, and help resolve an order or website issue.
Contact-form messages
The contact form sends your name, email address, and message to the Homemade Con Amor business inbox through Google Workspace SMTP. Your email address is used as the reply-to address so we can respond. The website does not place contact-form values in a URL, save them in browser storage, store them in an application database, or send an automatic reply.
Preorders and Square payments
During checkout, Homemade Con Amor validates your cart, contact details, pickup selection, and current total. Square processes the payment and keeps the payment and order records used to verify your purchase. Card details are entered through Square's secure payment fields; Homemade Con Amor does not receive or store your full card number.
The website has no separate customer or order database at launch. Square and Google Workspace handle records under their own services and policies. Homemade Con Amor has not established a separate fixed website retention or deletion schedule.
Private pickup details
The private preorder pickup location is kept in server-only configuration. It is provided to a customer only after a valid, current checkout quote and again on a valid, verified paid-order confirmation. It is not published on the homepage, menu, public Find Us page, sitemap, or this policy, and it is not stored in the browser cart.
Cookies and browser storage
The website saves a cart version, product identifiers, quantities, and the active preorder cycle in your browser's local storage so the cart can survive a refresh. It does not save your contact-form message, checkout contact details, payment details, or private pickup address there.
Homemade Con Amor does not set analytics or advertising cookies at launch. When online payment is available, Square may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to provide its secure payment services.
Analytics and session recording
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are not enabled at launch. The site does not use analytics tracking or session recording at launch. If those tools are added after launch, Homemade Con Amor will update this policy and complete the applicable privacy and consent review before enabling them.
Sharing and selling information
Homemade Con Amor does not sell personal information. We use service providers such as Square, Google Workspace, and the site host only where needed to operate the current website, receive messages, process payment, and support pickup orders.
